Donald holds a professional diploma in accountancy from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is a practicing Certified Public Accountant in Hong Kong. He is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountant and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the United Kingdom.
Donald has over 30 years experience in auditing, taxation, finance and accounting. He joined Kwan Wong Tan & Fong CPA, the then largest local CPA firm in Hong Kong, after his graduation from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1987. He focused mainly on the audit of listed companies and IPO projects in Hong Kong during his time there. Since 1994, Donald further enhanced his professional skill as senior management of local CPA firms in the aspects of tax compliance, insolvency, corporate advisory services and human resources management. Since 2001, through participation in the establishment and monitoring the development of a China based CPA firm liaison office in Dongguan to explore the mainland market, Donald had gained valuable experience in China investment advisory services.
